The company
An outstanding multi-million pound recruitment organisation based in SE London that specialises in placing IT personnel into various verticals. They cover perms, contracts and search. The search division focusses on placing sales and marketing personnel to software houses. They currently have a team of 6 and the company as a whole has just had its best year.
The role
HEAD OF SEARCH RECRUITMENT. The search division needs a manager who can lead and develop the team whilst also winning new business. Most of their work is contingent search (£60k-£100k salaries) with a high level of exclusive work being won. This role is paying a competitive basic of £45k with a 3Xbasic salary OTE. However, there is a long term incentive plan in place that could see a high performer realise £700k in 2 years. I can provide more details as to how this is possible when you contact me.
The candidate
Coming from a search background is desirable, not essential. However, what is essential is that you have gravitas and potential to operate within search and understand and have perhaps practiced the fundermentals. If you do come from a search background, that is certainly beneficial!
The most important element to this appointment is that you have led a team of at least 6 individuals in the past and have surpassed expectations. Please be ready to elaborate on how this has been accomplished.
Ideally you have IT recruitment experience, but again, this isn’t mandatory. You can come from any white collar recruitment background and have a desire to operate within IT recruitment.
Lastly, wherever you have come from, you have been successful in your own right. You’re strong in front of clients and are considered high impact and results driven, being able to win deals effectively.
